New Delhi: As the Railway Minister and Finance Minister gear-up to present their second full budget, the country awaits eagerly for the announcements that will accelerate the economic growth that seems to have stagnated amid the global slowdown. It is evident that this Budget is bound to play a critical role in shaping the future of both - individuals and industries. To decode the Budget 2016, CNN-IBN and IBN7 will bring rolling coverage on the Rail budget on 25th Feb and Union Budget on 29th Feb under the umbrella of the special shows ‘Rail Budget’16’ on CNN-IBN & ‘Shubh Yatra’ on IBN7 for Rail Budget and ‘The Booster Budget’ on CNN-IBN & ‘Budget Waale Babu Meri Income Bada Do!’ on IBN7 for Union Budget.
The shows will be a culmination of a series of pre-Budget shows through which both the channels have been capturing the mood, expectations and suggestions of different sections of the society. The network has lined up an extensive live programming to cater to the viewers with all they need to know about the upcoming budget.
The formidable editorial teams of both the channels will be joined by some of the country’s most eminent economists and commentators, not only to decode the Union and Rail Budgets but also to analyse the state of Indian economy and the challenges that lie ahead.
