i)Life Coping Skills These are natural skills which every organism including man, acquires from birth to adapt fittingly in his or its environment. They are survival Instincts or skills. They are natural things we do to survive, avert dander and assert our individuality, e.g., crude farming, running on an errand, hunting, learning to make shelter, fishing, obeying laws and authorities, avoiding conflicts, etc

ii)Manipulative Skills : these skills are seen in skills acquisition centres as it involves economic activities that inculcate skills such as technical education. Computer, field events, mining, manufacturing, technological works, scientific experiments, construction, engineering, productive ventures, gadgets and machine manipulations (whether digital or analogue), building, wielding, carpentry, mechanics etc.

iii)Intellectual Skills : these skills are coordinates in character. It is the literary or theoretical frameworks that guide the practical aspects of the works, economic and scientific undertakings. In the primary sense, it is called brain work. Without the intellectual skills, no other skills can function as they are the master minds, motivators and co-coordinators.

iv)Communicative Skills : Communication is a very important aspect of our life. Man evolved communications skills as a social being to enable him pass or send information from one person to the other or from place to place. Communicative skills assist the intellectual skills to be expressed adequately and specifically.

v)Artistic Skills: These are close to communicative skills and are more complex. Includes they art of good writing, fine and applied arts, music and drama. These skills make effective use of all the other four kinds of skills where necessary

Responsible Parenthood is the state of a parent, the office or character of a parent which suggests the responsibilities of parents to guide protect and provide for the basic needs of their children.

Those families living with someone suffering from HIV/AIDS are less likely to be able to attend school or miss school as they are caring for their sick parents.

refers to one’s love towards his country or nation. A patriotic citizen will wish his country well.
iv)Showing hospitality: That is where the citizens exhibit friendly behaviour towards their visitors in the nation.
v)Inter-marriage: When people of different ethnic background engage in
inter-tribal marriage, it foster unity among them.

i)Voting: In a democracy, voting is the single most important form of political participation that a person can take part in because it ensures that politicians are elected by the people, rather than being assigned to their position of power by someone else.

ii)Citizens can also protest , riot, or refuse to vote to demonstrate
dissatisfaction with certain elements of their political system.

iii)Public consultations : Like voting, public
consultations (which are more commonly
known as town hall meetings) offer ordinary citizens the chance to get together in a group with a politician or elected official in order to make their opinions and feelings known.

iv)Jury duty : Although most people shudder at the thought of having to attend jury duty, it is an important type of political participation because it ensures that people who are charged with a crime are judged by people like them, rather than allowing the outcome to depend entirely on a single person, such as a judge.

v)Citizens also participate in politics
by being directly involved in campaigns. Citizens can run for office themselves, donate money or time to candidates, or discuss political issues and campaigns
with friends and family.
