STORY BOOK: FAITHFUL RABBIT CHAPTER 1

A RABBIT

This is  rabbit.
Rabbit is a small animal.
It has long ears.
It has a short tail.
It has soft fur on its body.
It lives in holes in the ground.
It is also kept at home as pet.
It is also kept for food.

A FARMER

A farmer is a person who plant crops.
A farmer grows crops like maize,beans and rice.
He uses cutlasses and hoes for his farming.

A  HUNTER

A hunter is a person who hunts wild animals.
He hunts animals for food.
In some occasions,he sells the animals for money.
A hunter has a gun and a knife.
He uses the gun to kill the animals.
He uses the knife to cut them.

A TRAP

a trap is a piece of equipment for catching animals like rabbit.
A trap is laid with bait.
A bait is the food put on a trap hook to attract animals to the trap.

One day a pregnant rabbit told her friends, i will celebate the naming ceremony of my children if i give birth safely."
Few days later she gave birth to three beautiful bunnies.
The three beautiful children looked healthy.
On the naming day, she named them one by one.
She named the first bunny RABBITOR.
She named the second BUNNY RABBITER.
And the third BUNNY RABBITUL.
The mother rabbit was very happy after the naming ceremony.
Few hours later,the mother rabbit was hungry.
She went out to look for food for herself.
As the mother rabbit was going out the bunnies were crying for food.
I have fed you already."the mother rabbit said i am also hungry, let me go and look for my own food."
But the bunnies cried more.
The mother rabbit went out for food.
She saw food in a trap.
She was happy for the food because she was hungry.
The rabbit entered into the trap.
She put her mouth to take the food. As the mouth touched  the food,she got trapped.
She found herself completely  shut up in the trap.
She was sorry for herself.
She was sorry for her hungry bunnies at home.
The rabbit became helpless.
She cried out for help.
But nobody was there to help her.
Few minutes later, a hunter was passing by.
He heard the cry of the rabbit.
Help me!  I am trapped".
The rabbit cried loudly.
The hunter saw the rabbit in the trap but could not help.
I cannot help you". The hunter told the rabbit.
Please get me out of the trap". The rabbit begged him.
Getting you out of the trap will offend the owner of the trap". The hunter  replied.
I have just given birth. My children are at home hungry. i came here to find food for myself".the rabbit explained.excuse me for not setting you free".said the hunter, reason with me.please help me.let me go. I don't need food for myself again because i know i will die." Rabbit begged.
So you know  that?" The hunter said.
Please let me go and feed my children.
And i will come back to the trap".
The rabbit requested.
The hunter started laughing.
