NAIJ.com has learnt that passengers of an Aero Contractors flight traveling between Port Harcourt and Lagos had a frightening experience recently as one of the plane's engines allegedly caught fire, causing the cabin to become filled with thick smoke.
A twitter user, Oriaku Okwesilieze who posted the near death experience online, said the plane started having issues 20 minutes after take off.

According to her, the incident which occurred on Tuesday, April 18 was a near death experience for her which she cannot forget in a hurry.
She tweeted: "I'm still shaky, this experience is one I can't forget easily. Over 30 mins we were chanting prayers as our flight was filled with smoke.
Recall that recently reported that a Medview airline flight from Lagos to Abuja was suspended midair after a fault was observed on the plane.
A passenger on the flight said passengers suspected the plane, with flight number VL 2102, was faulty before takeoff, but they were assured by the pilot and the crew that all was well.
The passenger went further to claim that few minutes after take-off, the plane had to return to the Lagos Airport due to the problem.
“They want to kill over 100 passengers with their faulty plane,” a passenger, Oladejo Olowu said.
