Governor Akinwumi-led lagos state goverment on Thutsday 11th of May Launched Free public Wi-Fi at parks and garden in it's Resolve to acheive it's smart Mega City Status.
The initiative was kick started at popular Ndubuisi park,Alausa ikeja while others are Expected to follow suit according to the state goverment.
The Launch of the initiative os part of activities to Mark the 50 years anniversary of the creation of the state.
Speaking on the occassion ,the state governor Mr Akinwumi Ambode said the provision of the free Wi-Fi was part of his Administration Effort to make the state work for all and sundry.
Represented by state commissioner for science and Technology Mr olufemi odubiyi,the governor stressed that the increase in patronage of parks and gardens Spread across the state has prompted the goverment to equip the centers with free Wi-Fi to serve the needs of visitors to the parks.
